Ironically this project was for an employee of one of the UK's leading broadband providers. But don't tell CID. At the start of the pandemic she needed to work from home. With a house full of children she setup in the upgraded garage office. But the home hub router couldn't do the job.

When we moved into lock down and people started to work from home, people quickly found out that in reality their home hub was not up to the job.
The government responded with furlough and nothing about improving home WIFI for working from home. That was tongue in CHEEK !
Anyway the problem was that in reality the mass produced free home routers by various broadband providers are just not up to the increased expectations.

One node is connected to an internet modem, while the rest can be placed throughout your home to create a powerful wireless network. ... This makes setting and scaling up your mesh network as easy as adding another node.
At the start of working from home, my wifi, just could not manage it. I setup office in the garage to give my husband and kids space. Steve installed a mesh wifi solution and bingo, I could ZOOM, VOIP Call , email , infact everythig i needed to do. Don't be stuck call Steve.

I sell and sell and sell on Ebay. Working from home was kind of ok but my space had poor WIFI. I talked to Steve at IT Manager and he recommended a MESH solution. He provided a great quote with no gaps in it. From installation to training I was impressed. I have kept him on a retainer because he can monitor my network remotely. He even calls my broadnband people before i realise there is a problem. Feels like a Rolls Royce service. I am happy un-interrupted selling WIFI Rocks.
