A client approached me explaining they were having difficulties with BT. They had been based in Lancaster for a number of years but had decided to relocate offices out of town. BT had told them the number was registered at the local exchange and they needed a new number at their new address.

The client called me after wasting a few hours on the phone to their current provider. That is were the pain ended. I explained they can keep their number. I realsie they have an old system but I can move them to the cloud and keep there number. Not only that it will save you 35% on what you have been paying.
They instructed me to start the project of moving their telecoms to the cloud.

The technical part
We ported the clients old telephone number into the cloud and setup SIP accounts for their new cloud based PBX.Once this was all in place we offered the client a selection of different desk phones with HD audio.
We installed a new broadband feed and enabled QOS for the telephone network. Similar to the diagram below.

This project was easy for me. I called Steve and explained my problem. He talked me through a solution over the phone and emailed me the quotes and details. His service included everything from talking to the 3rd parties at the start of the project, to training my staff after the installation. I highly recommend the IT Manager solution.
